Located in the heart of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, Capitol Dental Center is proud to attend to the oral healthcare needs of patients in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. We adhere to office standards that only allow for excellence while you are in our care.
Capitol Dental Center was founded by Dr. Schafhauser in 1979 immediately after graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. The practice was first located in the Lowry Medical Arts and moved to the corner of 6th and Wabasha shortly after. Several practices joined Dr. Schafhauser over the years. The practice relocated to Town Square in 2022. Over the years, Dr. Schafhauser continued to be an active participant in continuing education, both locally and nationally.

Please plan for your initial visit to last 90 minutes. This will enable us to take any necessary x-rays, do a thorough exam of your gum tissue, perform a teeth cleaning if possible, and meet with one of our Doctors to discuss your oral health going forward.
